Big changes this year!! Please read all info carefully:
Most importantly, we will be at Kennaway House, Sidmouth, home of the Southwest Arts Academy!!
What You Need To Do:
Our summer exhibition is not far away, so now is the time to decide what artwork you want to display.
Please remember that if you use a framer for your pictures they will need plenty of notice, as this is a busy time of year for them! It is a good thing to consider going with the best frames you can afford as this can make or break your pictures. It also helps the exhibition to look professional and of a high general standard, and makes the job of the hanging committee much easier.
As ever, one of the stipulations in hanging your work in the exhibition is that you need to agree to steward during the sessions when we are open to the public. Simon Gray will be in charge of the rota. [See Rule 11 below]
On the delivery day , if you need to , you can drive into Kennaway to drop the artwork off but you can only stop for max 5 minutes. Obviously if you can avoid this it would be helpful as it could get quite busy. A reminder that delivery is by surname with those with surname A - L 10 - 11a.m. and those with surnames starting with M - Z 11- 12am.
You can find all the relevant information regarding entering art work on your forms [see below] , but please remember if you are entering cards, to fill in the separate form for this and send the form to Chris Poole.
The Exhibition Rules
Please read VERY carefully as there are MANY changes this year
A small amendment to the rules sheet. The judge will choose a single work for a trophy this year, though there will also be a Members' Vote and a Public Vote.
The Exhibition Entry Form
You may find THIS the easiest way to submit your entries online. Download the pdf file, fill it with your details, and email the completed entry to Fiona.
Or print it out, fill it in, take a photo or scan it, and email it to Fiona.

Please add your name to the file's title before sending!

OR, if a problem, print and hand in, or post, your copy filled in by hand.
The CARDS Entry Form
Again this year we are able to display your cards if you have them.
NB 1) This form [below] is only needed if you have printed cards to sell
2) Email completed forms to Chris Poole [charybdis72@hotmail.co.uk], not to Fiona Gale

We have not put a limit on the number of cards you can
put in of each design. It would be very helpful if you have, or
can borrow, your own card display stands.

IMPORTANT: At end of exhibition please let Chris know the number of each card you have left so that he can calculate your sales and how much you are owed. (Preferably, use this form to record how many of each card design you have remaining at the end.)
or in pdf format if you prefer
