OVAS Exhibition 2025   

A highlight of the OVAS year is the Annual Exhibition.  In 2025 it will again be held in July at Kennaway House, Sidmouth, home of the Southwest Arts Academy. 
All members may exhibit their work for a small fee and a percentage on sales to aid society’s funds.  Artists may also sell cards of their work.
Work is judged by an independent visiting artist, with prizes awarded in several categories.

All exhibitors are required to do some stewarding of the exhibition - many hands make light work!​​

Additional Information:

  • If you use a framer for your pictures they may need plenty of notice.  Consider getting the best frames you can afford as this can make or break your pictures. It also helps the exhibition to look professional and of a high general standard, and makes the job of the hanging committee much easier.

  • On handing-in day, if you need to, you can drive into Kennaway to drop the artwork off but you can only stop for max 5 minutes. Even so, if you can avoid this it would be helpful as it could get quite busy. A reminder that delivery time depends on your surname: A-L 10-11, M-Z 11-12

  • Judging will take place on15th July with Hannah Twine.  Awards will be presented in the evening.

You can download the pdf file, fill it with your details, and email the completed entry to Fiona. Or print it out, fill it in, take a photo of it, and email that to Fiona at.  ovasinfo58@gmail.com​
