Cynthea Gregory taught in secondary schools for nearly thirty years, initially specialising in fabrics, before retraining in Design and Technology. She left teaching to follow her husband to France.  There she ran a B&B, as well as teaching English as a foreign language, and writing cookery books. After a gap of more than 50 years, three years ago she picked up an artist’s paintbrush again.
