Data for OVAS Members
Otter Vale Art Society (OVAS) takes your privacy seriously and will only use your personal data to administer your membership and keep you informed about the Society’s activities. The only personal data collected and stored are names and contact information (address, telephone, email address).
Data controller
The Membership Secretary of OVAS is the data controller. At the present time this is Terry Davies at The Old Vicarage, Tipton St. John, Sidmouth, EX10 0AQ.
Members will be notified of any change in the future.
Data storage and utilisation
Personal data is stored by the data controller for current members only. Data will be deleted for members who leave. Data is stored on a computerised list and address database which will only be used for OVAS purposes. It may be shared with other members of OVAS Committee as required to carry out their functions.
The data will be used for membership management and renewals; to inform members about Society activities; to distribute Society literature; and to contact members individually if required for Society purposes.
Members rights to amend or withdraw data
You can change or request the deletion of your data or withdraw your consent to any further processing of your data at any time by contacting the Data Controller in writing, at the address above. Please note that all use by OVAS of your personal data will cease once you have withdrawn consent, other than where this is required by law, but this will not affect any personal data already processed prior to this point.
